Dear Ratnabh
Another great trip – very well organized and we could enjoy. Thank you very much for all you have done for us and specially, Marcel. Your great help is very much appreciated, without which we could not have enjoyed this wonderful trip.
See you next year again !

Ratnabh, a wildlife photographer, arranged our recent India family holiday with superb attention to detail and care. For example, we were very fortunate to have 3 tiger sightings in Ranthambore mindful that even one is rare and Ratnabh and his team seemed to somehow ensure that we were in the best sections of Ranthambore every day to achieve this.

Yesterday we got back from Sunderban. Thank you very much for the organisation! It was really very great. Our Tour Guide Arpita was super!!! She knew about everything and spoke excellent English.
We had great weather (approx.. 25C) and the air was very good, we should have brought some back to Delhi of the same J
On our next trip we shall certainly come back to you.

Hello Everybody :
It's not often that I post dithyrambic appraisal on agency or whatsoever, but this time yes!
Simply because after many experiences, this agency never failed, regularly provided the kind of service and human touch we are so much striving for down here!
We visited Ajanta and Ellora caves, gorgious. Even though we missed our flight and took another one, they managed to keep the program, the driver was absolutely nice and clever, bringing us to not so conventional places we love, hotel package like a fairy tale and finally, they managed to get the failed ticket reimbursed pretty fast. Isn't it a good service?
The same in Corbett: we went 3 days with Ratnabh. Fantastic! We saw so many animals, including an evening in the middle of a herd of wild elephants (probably one of the greatest memory of all my travels), and Ratnabh, managing quietly the situation, discussing about all topics with interest.
Our friends from China visited Rajasthan with Monkfoot: same experience, same . They even got reimbursed a part of the taxi because it was < not exactly > what was expected. They still do not believe that it happened in India!
Such experiences are quite rare, specially when it comes to having a regular excellent service in all details. Believe us, we have thousands of km in the feet, back-pack style, but with Monkfoot, it's something different.
To all travelers who want to rest from time to time: Just try it

Firstly, thank you, we had an excellent time in Ranthambhore.
Whole variety of birds, mongoose, deer, boars, a shy leopard and Romeo the dominant male tiger.
Amazing and humbling experience, the grace and silence of a tiger is a lifelong memory!
Best wishes and thank you again

I can tell you with absolute certainty that we The Alphonso's were blown away with our Corbett and Sonapani experiences. We just loved every minute of it. Our visitors I think are still very wide eyed.
Andre and I want to thank you very much for everything you did to make that trip as special as it was. The guides and drivers were exceptional.
Dhikala - there really is only one place to stay in Corbett and that's Dhikala. Again the accommodation is clean, adequate and good clean food. Also the staff at Dhikala were extremely helpful with any request or enquiry. What a wonderful place both in scenery and atmosphere.
Sonapani - just beautiful. Ashish and Deepa have built a wonderful little village and are very welcoming. Food was great; accommodation was great, fresh air was magic and the views spectacular.
I don't have time to go into great detail but thought you might like to refer to our blog to get a sense of our experiences - particularly Corbett. Our blog address is:

We were two families travelling together with three children under 4years and one aged 8years. Our requirements were discussed in detail prior to going ahead with the booking. They took care to make sure that how we travelled and where we stayed would also suit the children. We all went on the train and had seamless transfers to our accommodation. The accommodation was great with a swimming pool and lots of room for the children to run around. We left the younger children at the hotel for the morning safaris but the guide was able to organise an afternoon where we took the younger ones on a "baby safari" on the outskirts of the park. They saw lots of deer, monkeys, birds and other animals which they were fascinated with. We saw tigers on two of the safaris but the trip would have been fantastic even if we didn't, there were loads of animals in the park and the guide we had was excellent. We were very happy with all aspects of the holiday and Lara and Ratnabh were constantly in touch to make sure everything was going smoothly."
'We booked a last minute trip to Amritsar . I took the train up with my husbands parents and two young children. They enjoyed the train trip(6 hours) even though it was raining most of the way. Breakfast and snacks were provided on the train. The driver met us at the station and took us to the hotel. We used the next day for sightseeing, the guide was very good and well informed taking us all through the golden temple to Jallianwala Bagh and then later on to the border ceremony. We had decided to fly back as there were no train tickets. Everything was organised well, we were provided with detailed information before we left and they were available for any questions or concerns. After doing quite a few trips around India I have found, especially with young children, that it is much easier to have a good travel agent organise the trip and make all the bookings. You don't have to search for hours looking at different accommodation and transport options and you have no concerns about where you are going to end up!. '

I just wanted to say thanks for organising the trip to Ranthambhore. We all had a fantastic time from the hotel to the amazing safari experiences. Even if we had not seen a tiger it would have been well worth it.
Additionally top marks for the guide , he was excellent!

Hallo Ratnabh,
Vielen Dank
für den tollen Trip.
Viele Grüße
Bastian – Germany (Visited Agra, Jaipur and Ranthambhore National Park)
With friends over from Scotland we had an excellent trip to Ranthambhore thanks to Ratnabh’s organisation and knowledge. He recommended and then arranged a private guide for us in the game reserve who knew all the best places and found us tigers on two of the three days we were in the game reserve which was a fantastic bonus. Our travel and accommodation arrangements went very smoothly and the hotel was very good.

Me and our friends had a fantastic vacation/travel in India-it was without any doubt the best tour we had so far, given the fact that some our close friends were part of the experience. Nearby everthing went absolutely perfect and I would like to thank you and your team for this exiting experience

We had the ultimate travel to the North East of India. This journey, as we have experienced it should only take people who want to see a lot of new, interesting, exciting and adventurous. These people will get their money's worth ! There were but unforgettable impressions of regions that are avoided by tourists and for comfort-seeking people. And that's a good thing, because that would be out of place there.
In addition to our dream trip to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, we had booked 2 more train travel in Monkfoot.
The first took us into the Thar desert to Jaisalmeer, for me, the dream city of One Thousand-and-One-Night. Although many Western tourists, Jaisalmer is worth the trip. Especially if you can book through Monkfoot the hotel where we have stayed. In the old town, accessible only on foot, a museum the same, with a great service.
The second destination was Amritsar, close to the border with Pakistan. The Golden Temple, the largest shrine of the Sikhs, is so impressive that I will not describe here can.
Finally, very many thanks to Lara and Ratnabh of Monkfoot, who made such a great experience.

We are now back in England and would like to say thank you for your patient and special help to arrange this excellent trip for and with us.
We enjoyed every second and have also lived quite an "Indian life" with all the people we met. It was a wonderful holiday and everything went perfect, we even managed 3 trips on the Nilgiri railways with perseverance and patience. The worst that happened to us was a train that was 15 min late. And all the beauty we saw: tigers, elephants, dolphins and this amazing country side. All the kindness of the people and their interest in us. I do not know how to pack our month in India in a few sentences, but it was everything we wanted and more.
Thanks a lot

Here is our feedback on the trip to Corbett that we did from 12/04/12 to 16/04/12 :
Overall organization of the trip absolutely perfect as usual ! Car and driver very safe driver and excellent car !)
Corbett National Parc is another paradise on earth, time flies so quickly in such places !
Safaris :We saw so many animals : tiger, wild elephants, wild boars, monkeys, deers, peacocks, serpent eagle, owl, crocodile, mountain lizard, jackals, mongoose, and of course many different species of birds ! The most impressive were definively the wild elephants : we saw hundreds of them and some of them so closely that we even got really scared twice !

Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you, but after Ranthambore we only had a couple of days in India before heading back to the UK and straight in to work (and the snow!).
I just wanted to say thank you very much for sorting everything out for us, and making our trip possible. I fully appreciate that it was not a very straight forward job and very much appreciate you making it possible.
Despite the weather on Wed which was less than ideal, our trip was ultimately a great success given we got to see a Tiger on Thurs morning! However, even without this, the scenery in Ranthambore is absolutely stunning, and a trip to the Fort is worthwhile on any occasion.
Once again, thank you for all your effort on this.
Best wishes,

We have experienced two great safari experiences efficiently organized by Ratnabh Banerjee at Monkfoot, once in 2017 to Ranthambore via JC Travels in Sri Lanka and again earlier this year, 2019, to Kanha and Bandhavgarh where we booked our travel direct from Monkfoot. The transport facilities from either Jaipur to Ranthambore or Delhi to Kanha via Jabalpur were punctual and excellent and the board and accommodation provided at the hotels was first class. I would definitely travel with them again and would recommend Monkfoot to anyone.

We used WildinSoul.com to arrange a visit to the Tadoba National Park in India mid last year. They set up an excellent itinerary for us, which included the domestic travel, accommodation just outside the park and the safari's etc. Their recommendation of the lodge was excellent and exceeded our expectations. They also requested the lodge to provide us a naturalist who was also very good. Ratnabh, their local partner met us at the airport and made sure our transfers etc were smooth and continuously stayed in touch with us. All in, they did a fantastic job. I fully recommend them, and will certainly use them again on future trips to india.
