Cancellation & Refund

Cancellation of trip:

  • From date of confirmation / deposit until 61 days from start of travel  - 30 % forfeited
  • From 60 -45 days from start of travel - 50% of the payment forfeited
  • From 44 - 25 days from start of travel - 70% of the payment forfeited
  • ​Less than 25 days from start of travel - 100% of the payment forfeited

Refunds and Claims

No refund shall be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road blocks, Lockdowns or any other factor beyond our Control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable

No refund shall be claimed, if the services & amenities of hotel were not up to your expectations, it will be considered on case to case basis.

Bank charges and processing charges will be deducted from the final refund.

  • Long weekend and holiday bookings like New Year, Christmas, Holi and Diwali are non-refundable.  

Cancellation of Hotel Bookings :

  • General Policy : Cancellation policy for hotel booking depends from season to season and policy of the hotels.
  • The general rule is that the hotels refund 100% if the cancellation is 30 days before the date of chek-in.
  • Smaller properties : There are exception to the above rule, as some of the smaller properties or properties charge 50% of the cost and some properties do not entertain any refunds at all. In such cases we inform the guests before making their bookigs.
  • During the peak seasons : 24th December - 5th January, most properties do not give any refunds.

Wildlife Safari Charges : Wildlife Safari charges are not refundable. Also the safari bookings can not be changed / modified.

Important

Cancellation by a guest must be made in writing and be acknowledged by Monkfoot Travels Pvt Ltd in writing. The date on which the request to cancel is received by Monkfoot will determine the cancellation fees applicable.

Cancellation fees charged by the hotels, transport, guides etc is not standard. For example during peak season some hotel may not refund any portion even if cancellation is done more than 30 days before the booking date.
